Replace both oil pressure sensors, try to source genuine parts or aftermarket equivalents from the same manufacturer as the originals, as sensors from certain brands (such as FAE) are prone to failure - even when brand new. Additionally, arm yourself with a standard paperclip and, prior to installation, verify the sensor's functionality by pressing into the orifice through which it reads pressure. Occasionally, the internal contacts can become stuck, preventing the sensor from registering a reading. When pressing with the paperclip, you should hear a distinct click, this indicates that the sensor is functioning correctly. You can also test the sensors using a multimeter by measuring the resistance between the ground terminal and the signal wire: when the sensor is depressed, the device should indicate electrical continuity. One final, crucial note: exercise caution when selecting replacement parts, as the sensor located in the cylinder head is designed for a different operating pressure than the sensor situated near the oil filter.
