W176 Amplifier Failure

Good news... glad to hear it. I was wondering if you had considered trying to repair the original board? In one of the pictures it looks like a component shorted out and burned out. I have experience with this type of repair if you are interested. You will need to see a good board or schematic to know what parts and part numbers need to be replaced.
 
I got rid of it about a week ago. I put it in a used parts container to try and fix it someday, but it just made the entire 20 foot container smell like burnt electronics, so I threw it in the trash! I wish I could have saved it, but unfortunately it was already pretty bad.
