I would like to replace the instrument cluster on my W204 2008. I have two color clusters from the restyling, one color. As far as I know, I need to virginize the cluster before coding with Vediamo. Does anyone know how to virginize it?

Need to read EEPROM and change. If you have EEPROM programmer, upload dump here and we will make it virgin.

If you don't have an EEPROM programmer, you can do it via OBD. MBTools website.

Reading the EEPROM is not an easy task and after doing so you will have to enter 0 km in the EZS before doing the initial start again.
IMHO it is best to use MBTools -> OBD OP2.0 and do the job following the instructions (y)

I have EEPROM programmer, C6 diagnostics, iProg+ and I already have EEPROM binary file. MBTools, do I need to pay?

You won't be able to teach the cluster unless you put less than 100 km on the dash. The easiest way is to check the mileage on the new one, it should be less than the mileage of the EZS and copy the SSID. Although there are plenty of generic virgin dumps on the Internet, I do not recommend writing one, since the clusters are different.

So if you have a binary EEPROM file, put it here and after you get the virginized file, write it to the chip.
But you also need to set EZS to 0 before loading a virgin IC and doing the initial boot.
Yes, MBTools is paid, but it is the fastest and easiest solution.
