Can anyone tell me how to disable the blind spot assistant? What file do I need?

You can do it with Vediamo. No files, just find it and disable it

Yes, in the variant coding... I think it was in the IC212 ECU... And CGW... Just disable all settings for "totwinkel" to "nicht active".
But shouldn't this also be possible within a regular car KI -> Instrument Cluster? Just browse the menus/assistants etc. For example, as described as a template in this video:
