1. Ensure the front wheels are perfectly straight.
2. Rotate the clock spring to find its center position:
• Turn it fully one way and count the full rotations to the opposite end.
• Then, turn it back to the middle (usually around 2.5 turns).
3. Align the steering angle sensor gears properly to the neutral position.
4. Reinstall the steering wheel carefully, ensuring the alignment mark is at 12 o’clock.
5. Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition on.
Calibration via Diagnostic Tool (ODIS/XENTRY):
1. Connect XENTRY (or a compatible scanner) to the OBD2 port.
2. Select the Steering Angle Sensor module (ESP or ABS system).
3. Perform the "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" function.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to store the 0-degree position.
