I try to update my BMW module using WinKFP, it's a BMW E91 LCI 2012. I tried to update the PDC module first because it is the fastest update, just to see if the other modules would work after that.
So my procedure :
- Install BMW Standard Tools
- Configure K-DCAN cable (everything is OK because I manage to use NSC expert to code and INPA to diagnostics)
- Download V71 SP data for BMW
- Install this data with Coding Tools
- Connect my car to the PC
- Open Winkfp: Comfort Mode, update ZUSB, choose PDC81, enter VIN, prog ZUSB
And here I have this error, I don’t understand:
So I tried to install WinKFP again to solve this problem but with no success, I tried to update the data again with V71 and after V70, but I have the same problem, could not solve it.
If anyone had the same problem and managed to solve it, please help me.
Other questions :
- What is the latest data version for my 2012 E91 that changes anything for me?
- Do I need to install all the data on the whole car, because now I'm just installing the E89 data?
