Will this do full screen on Android Auto?

Based on the product description (scroll down to see a sample photo from Android Auto), I'm not an Android user so I can't know for sure, but it works great on iOS.

This is an interesting theory. I updated MBUX also having a device key so I have all licenses active including Baidu but as soon as the device connects to the network it cancels the licenses... I can disconnect the Internet connection and the licenses will remain but then I can't use some online functions like radio tuning etc. Any ideas how to block just the license update without losing the Internet?

Can you explain how you activated all the licenses?

If you have a virgin unit, you can begin the process of obtaining a device key.
Once the unit is connected to the HERMES or SCN, the device key will be erased.
You can review the HU6 DTS project subroutine coding to see the system activation workflow.
There are subroutines for activating the system using a device key.
I wanted to know if it was possible to get a device key from VeDoc, but I don't have access to anything MB online.
Some use an adapter to connect to the MCU via serial port to edit the EEPROM and get the device key.

I read some official documents about some security vulnerabilities in NTG6. The only way is to gain access to the head unit and then access the file system directly via MMC (ie unsolder and then access the file structure) or via a "design flaw".

Have you read the documents on this page?

I found a company (Codefastbuy) and when I send them the HU6 module, they can open CarPlay, Baidu, AMG, DAB Engineering mode and all the functions that can be opened for $400. I think they use the same method.

It is one of the companies that reported the vulnerability to Daimler.
Everything they did was not easy, and they directly exploited some Linux vulnerabilities to gain advanced access. The only way I've seen reliable full-screen CarPlay is with an Android "box". Also, I haven't heard or seen CarPlay run full screen without the "Apple" UI.
With NTG7 all this is a thing of the past.

I tried Android CarPlay box. This is a bad device except for full screen mode. When I switch to MBUX system, the screen quality and brightness are reduced, and when I want to reverse park, I have to switch to MBUX system manually, and the autonomous parking function does not work because of this box. There is also a problem with the sound, to get sound you need to connect the USB AUX from the box, the sound is not transmitted to the speaker via Bluetooth or via the box's own cables.

Will this do full screen on Android Auto?

If you just activate Baidu CarLife and then get the converter from Baidu to Android Auto, the screen will not be full screen. Full screen mode will only be available for Apple CarPlay. At this point, no one knows why. Also, there is no "Baidu CarLife AIBOX" (devices that have their own system and apps like Netflix) yet.

If you buy a full CarPlay/Android interface instead (eg Kremersino, Carlinklife), it will work as a separate dual-boot system and have a full screen mode for both Android Auto and CarPlay.

If you are interested, feel free to ask additional questions.
