1. CarPlay activation with DTS Monaco is not possible.
2. Standard CarPlay works at 2/3 of the width.
3. Full screen mode is possible when using the CarLife protocol.

It is one of the companies that reported the vulnerability to Daimler.
Everything they did was not easy, and they directly exploited some Linux vulnerabilities to gain advanced access. The only way I've seen reliable full-screen CarPlay is with an Android "box". Also, I haven't heard or seen CarPlay run full screen without the "Apple" UI.
With NTG7 all this is a thing of the past.

I confirm the above - upgrading from 6th generation to NTG7 is the current working solution for full-screen display of the Apple UI.
