I recently had to replace the front bumper on my Dacia Logan. The car didn't originally have fog lights, but I bought a new front bumper and installed them for a small fee. I went to an electrician and he connected the wires so that the fog lights work, but the icon on the instrument panel does not come on when I turn on the fog lights. What can I do?

Did you have stock wiring for fog lights?
Or did you have a new one installed?
If a new one was installed, then for indication it is necessary to study the electrical circuit of the car and add wires.

They probably just spliced the wire that carries the current and grounded it at the closest point on the chassis. You can't turn on the dash to do that.

To turn on the fog light indicator on the instrument cluster, you need to get the fog light wiring diagram for the instrument cluster (of course, for the model that is supplied by the dealer right out of the box), find the terminal for the instrument cluster on the terminal diagram and connect the wires as indicated on the diagram.

An easier solution would be if your electrician gave you a switch to control the fog lights independently, just buy a switch with an illuminated one.
