I'm thinking about retrofitting to the 581 option, currently using the 580 on my W176.
Before I get started I need to figure out what part numbers I need. I found a list of part numbers on the A-Class forum, but most of them seem to be for right-hand drive cars. I am the owner of a left-hand drive car.
Any advice on do's and don'ts etc. is welcome!

580 and 581 are not much different. For example, 581 has a circulation pump. Is it worth bothering so much?

Now I'm figuring out what I need to decide whether I will continue or not. The main difference that stands out is the digital dash control unit, but I've read that it can be installed and programmed without going all the way to the 581.

I have started gathering necessary parts for 581 retrofit. However, I am a little confused by the required wiring harness and the 140 option that my car has. To be more precise, I initially thought I needed harness A1765403105, but after checking the EPC I found that A1765407401 was more in line with my car's current coding. The problem is that the last option is intended for RHD cars, and I did not find an analogue for LHD drive cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
