I'm thinking about retrofitting to the 581 version, I currently have the 580 version on my W176.
Before I start, I need to figure out what part numbers I need. I found a list of part numbers on the A-Class forum, but most of them seem to be for right-hand drive cars. I am the owner of a left-hand drive car.
Any advice on dos and don'ts etc. is welcome!

580 and 581 are not much different. For example, 581 has a circulation pump. Is it worth bothering with?

Now I think about what I need to decide whether to continue or not. The main difference that will be obvious is the digital instrument cluster, but I've read that this can be installed and programmed without going to the 581.

I started collecting the necessary parts to retrofit the 581. However, I am a little confused by the required wiring harness and the 140 option that my car has. To be more precise, I initially thought I needed harness A1765403105, but after checking the EPC I found that A1765407401 was more in line with the current coding of my car. The problem is that the last option is intended for right-hand drive cars, and I did not find an analogue for left-hand drive cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
