Head Unit Software Update for W167 GLE

I have a 2019 W167 GLE 350 4matic - petrol 2.0 Turbo engine.
The car was imported from USA to Georgia (the country GE), i don't have a Mercedes.me account, the car is still registered to the former owner's account in the United States.

I want to be able to connect my car to the Internet via my mobile phone as a hotspot, but the current software doesn't allow me to do this.
I found out that the FUP4 update introduced the ability to connect the car to a mobile hotspot and the section that lists the software version is included in the FUP2 update (I do not have it), so I'm guessing mine is in its primary state without any updates. I have no options to connect my car to the Internet.

Please advise me how can I find out what version of NTG and software I have installed?
What software do I need to update to FUP4?
Which MUX would be best for this purpose (C4 DOIP, VXDIAG VCX SE, Tactrix Openport 2.0 or something else)?

I would appreciate any advice I can get.

FUP2 also supports Internet hotspot, look at "Internet Connectivity Wrtie Domain" and also FUP4 has hotpost option like "default".
I can provide the latest SW numbers, just need your VIN.
To update you need a DOIP interface, I can recommend ENET, SD C4 or VCI C6 OEM.

- I'm focused on SD C4, I don't know much about ENET, I will research it.
- Please tell me what software do I need for this? Xentry? DTS Monaco? Vediamo?

If your SD C4 supports DOIP then you can use it with DTS Monaco, if not ENET then it is very cheap, about 20 dollars.

I'm a complete newbie, I haven't bought an SD C4 yet, but I plan to do so.
I just ordered ENET after reading your answer (it's worth the money even for educational purposes, thanks for the advice).
The current plan is to get enough reaction points so that I can download the software from the forum and learn how to use it, as well as understand how to use the information you gave me about SW files.
Then I will invest in the software and try to make updates.

Before you start updating your MBUX, I advise you to study DTS Monaco and the update very carefully. There are a lot of subtleties with updating MBUX and there is a high chance that you will make a mistake and have to contact service. The main thing is to read all the information carefully and not to rush anywhere.

Why not just take the car to the dealership and let them sort it out?
Any mistake you make will be an even bigger regret.
