I need some advice on programming and a strange problem with my car Mercedes CLA C118.

I recently made the following changes to the code:

  • Seat belt warning disabled.
  • Lane Change Assist activated.
  • Parallel Parking Assist activated.
  • Activated air balance.

Before this, I replaced the battery and correctly registered the new battery through diagnostics.

After coding, the following problems arose:

  • The "Fold mirrors when locking" setting keeps resetting. If I disable the folding mirrors feature, it reactivates on its own the next day.
  • When the right front door is opened, the window loses calibration. The window operates normally until the right door is opened. After the right door is opened, the window's behavior changes, and it seems the end position/adaptation is lost.

I've already adjusted the window settings. It helps temporarily, but the problem returns after opening the right door.
There are no error codes stored in the control units.

My questions:

  • Could this be related to a recent code change?
  • Could disabling the seat belt warning or activating the Lane Change Assist system have caused the conflict?
  • Or is it more likely a hardware issue (right door lock/door control module)?

I would be very grateful for any advice.

It's simple. Just revert to the old codings and check if everything works correctly. If so, you've made a mistake in some codings.
