I'm having trouble starting ConfigAssist.
The following message appears: "The service cannot be reached. Please contact the User Help Desk."
And a message appears that "set_sdconnect.bat" could not be executed.
I just installed Windows 11.

After several attempts to constantly disable real-time protection, it now worked. Windows always automatically turns on real-time virus protection. I think that was the problem.
There are solutions to permanently disable real-time protection. You need to change the keys in the registry.

 
If Defender and Antivirus are disabled and ConfigAssist does not start, you will have to start the Service manually.
Open Windows Services Manager (services.msc) and start "Mercedes-Benz ConfigAssist Service".
