I read about the good work you shared, I have a W177 A200 too, by any chance did you manage to enable the AMG Supersport screen on the dash with an adapter? Also considering enabling more dashes. Thanks!

When coding new driving modes, will they affect the actual behavior of the car according to these new modes? I just want to make sure that they are not just for visual purposes or do not function like the previously existing driving modes.

I coded it and changed the steering sensitivity and engine "accelerating mode" (GLC 2020).

There is a special AMG emulator module to connect to the car to activate the AMG Supersport screen. But I have never tried it. But if you want to try it yourself, I will leave a link here.

Most of the driving modes work as expected. But for example if you want to activate Sport Plus, the activation is not enough in some cars, for Sport Plus you need to select a special coding, but it is a bit complicated. And also the racing mode does not work in models other than AMG.

I finished the coding process today. My non-AMG car's dashboard does not display the Race indicator when Race mode is selected, but it does display the Sport Plus indicator when that mode is selected. Can these indicators on the instrument cluster tell me what driving modes my car supports? When I select Sport Plus mode, how can I make sure it doesn't behave like Sport mode, but actually functions like Sport Plus mode for my car?

Also, will the dedicated AMG emulator module solve the problem of the missing Race mode indicator on my dashboard?
Is there any coding required when using this emulator? I would really appreciate it if you could share the code that activates the AMG Supersport screen.

The AMG emulator is only intended to simulate that it is an AMG car. The AMG emulator is useless without AMG coding. Also, the Race mode is only for the A45.

Got some updates. When I turn on a new driving mode, like Sport Plus, it has no real effect because my transmission control unit doesn't have a mapping for it. So even though it is visually indicated that a new driving mode has been selected, my car (CLA 200) simply continues to use the previously selected driving mode that was detected via mapping.

You mentioned that "special coding" is needed to get the real effect. How difficult is that? Is it equally difficult for other modes, like "Snow"?

For Sport Plus try AMG X1 cw143017.
