My 400D is in Stage 1, will it help to reset it to "NAG3 V-Sport"? The rest of the CPC parameters remained as you recommended. I haven't had time to test it at 100-200 km/h yet.
Unfortunately, this change doesn't make sense for your setup at the moment, as the NAG3 transmission is limited to just 700 Nm, and your E400 has that power as standard.
You need to flash the TCU software to exceed 850 Nm, then with the NAG3 V-Sport coding you can use the 850 Nm from the AMG transmission.
I also recommend doing a complete overhaul of the mechanical transmission to ensure it can handle the extra power.
I had the same thing except in my case the two front radars were throwing up a bad checksum message and also a turbo 1 low pressure code which reset to factory settings but the car still wouldn't run very smoothly.
I had to remove the battery for 30 minutes and voila - the checksum error stopped appearing for the two front radars.
I also set all those options mentioned above but it didn't seem to help.
After a long period of waiting, I finally gathered the strength to try Stage 1 again, this time with a different company from a different country. Surprisingly, the car now drives perfectly. The car has already covered 4000 km with the new Stage 1 setting and has not encountered any problems.
Most likely, the torque limiters in the ECU map are higher than the limiters in the PTCU map.
These cars also need to have their PTCU flashed, but as far as I know, there are no such programmers available at the moment.
A better solution would be to adopt different strategies for Stage 1 in the ECU maps.
