VAG Cars, Tuning Request

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if it is possible to chip VAG cars using the ODIS program or maybe there is some other program for chipping VAG and which device is better for this?

ODIS is VAG diagnostic software and is not intended for chip tuning.

So maybe you know of any other chip tuning programs. Just for simple tuning. Or don't they exist?

The most important thing is to know which engine control unit ECU needs chipping.

ODIS can overwrite the ECU, but cannot configure the ECU parameters.

I would recommend first seeing where you can get good engine field map optimization files optimized for your engine, and then learning how to flash them, rather than changing individual values like boost pressure.

I would say "chip" is not the right word/term for tuning and modifications, ODIS is not meant for tuning anyway, so use other tools/software.

There are many devices that can modify, read and write ECU maps. The question is what year is the car and what type of ECU does it have. Give an example of a car, then I will advise what equipment you can buy.

I saw a fairly simple video of a guy doing a complex job on a 1.9TDI in 2 minutes using VAGEDCSuite.
