First of all, DPF has become a more specific topic in the new Xentry versions since 2022, as well as AdBlue and EGR, basically everything related to the exhaust system. This also applies to trucks that no longer have the DPF regeneration option. I'm sure most of you haven't noticed (but you will notice over time when some features that used to work now stop working or disappear altogether, and eventually an error occurs). Regarding the 350 W207, I saw a video posted where DPF regeneration was not possible, even the EGR valve could not be moved. And some with Atego and Actros trucks using the 2022 Xentry complained that they no longer have the regeneration option. A defect in the Xentry software, i.e. its activation by outdated methods, such as a patched tire in 100 places...
In your case, forget about various Passthru interfaces (J2534 has always been purely amateur diagnostics, so it is limited and nothing more). VXDIAG from Allscanner is a virtual emulator, and they even charge for licenses, but the emulator, like any emulator, never works 100% like a real device, and logically it cannot and will always have problems.
Your solution if you are looking for a fully reliable Xentry and interface: buy SDconnect C4 (it is not necessarily DOIP, good old quality is best) and secondly buy the commercial version of Xentry here and you will have no more problems now or in the future. For DOIP you can buy a DOIP cable if you really need it, it costs 25 euros. Only then you will be able to perform every function 100% in all diagnostic areas.
