I have a 2007 Mercedes W204 with an upgraded and coded instrument cluster (facelift). I have the option of remaining liters in the tank activated. When I fill my MB to the top, it only shows 59 liters of available tank capacity, but I know my tank capacity is 66 liters. Is this a coding problem? How to fix?

When I start the car or go to settings, the car color I see is gray W204 sedan. Is it possible to change it to black W204 sedan with Vediamo?

I also have a pre-facelift W204, but with a monochrome IC. The remaining shows 66 liters, but I can't fill more than 60 liters. Are you sure you have 66 liters?

The color of the car cannot be changed. The cluster displays the liter information received from the SAM/FSCU.

Before replacing IC I had a maximum of 66. I think 60 main and 6 reserve.

Why don't you compare the coding of the old cluster with the coding of the new one? Compare the coding options, maybe something is wrong.

I'm afraid I don't have the original code of my old cluster. The new one is coded manually :(

As far as I know, the standard capacity for the 4-cylinder engine was 59 liters, and for the SA CODE 916 it was 66 liters. Check the SA CODES your car actually has with a VIN decoder.
If you really have a bigger fuel tank. So maybe after changing IC the changes are not reflected in the codings. Always back up your codings before making any changes or replacements. Try looking for it in the IC204 and SAM/FSCU control units. You might find something there about adjusting the tank size/liters.

The remaining fuel volume is always (dynamically) calculated based on driving style, starting cycles, etc.

Here is my VIN number: WDD2040081F004364.
I used two decoders but I can't find the tank cap. Can you help me?

Ok I also checked for you, SA 916 is not there, since you have a 4 cylinder C220 CDI R4-DIESELMOTOR OM646 engine, I strongly suspect that you only have a normal overall fuel tank size and not the larger one in your car.

Just do a real test, scenario: drive for real until the car stalls and the fuel tank is empty. Take a five-liter canister with you with the fuel you need and make sure there is a gas station nearby. And check how many liters you can actually pour into a five-liter canister at a gas station. And calculate together whether it is really more than 60 liters.
