Did you try to disconnect car battery (that could reset your car infotainment) after the problem causing MIL was fixed. After driving 30-70 km and/or 20-40 engine start-stop cycles, the light can be reset.
I had the same problem after replacing the MAF sensor, it needed to be calibrated, this can be done via Xentry (I did it via a Chinese diagnostic tool). It doesn't matter how much you drive or remove the battery when it comes to some codes, so if you share the reason why the indicator is faulty, we can give a more accurate answer.
