I'm trying to setup my first Openport (clone) using Xentry. I installed the Openport driver, but Xentry doesn't see it. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to download and install XPT (XENTRY PassThru).
What Xentry do you have installed? XDOS or XPT (PassThru)?

I understand. Do you know if it can be installed along with XDOS on the same PC?

No, on the same Windows you need to remove XDOS, then install XPT.
Yes, on the same hard drive with separate/different Windows (multi-boot).

I have Xentry PassThru 09.2023 installed and it works great with Scanmatik. A little slower than SDconnect, but so far so good. I've used it on cars and trucks.

Yes, I finally have 06.2023 XPT (free solution) offered by DieTRih installed and it works with Openport with no problem on my old MS Surface Pro 2, as well as installed WIS Standalone, but I couldn't get it to be linked (at least included in the Xentry dropdown menu) to Xentry, even after running the "updated" solution... I haven't tried internal link from test steps yet, as it has been raining for few days here in Seattle and I couldn't work on the car outside.
Any similar experience at your end?

Most likely you are using an outdated distribution. Everything was written in that thread.
"The software was recompiled to support current and future versions."

I thought so myself, and to eliminate this possibility here is what I did (beside spending countless hours for the sake of not feeling hopeless):

- Installed Xentry XDOS 09.2023 and I activated it using publicly available keygen and yes there was a link with WIS, but no suitable SDconnect device (I have an old C3), so, no usefulness.
- Installed Xentry XPT 09.2023 and I activated it using publicly available keygen but there was NO GO with WIS, Openport works.
- Installed Xentry XPT 06.2023 and I activated it using your XENTRY Simple Activation (Thank you very much) but there was NO GO with WIS, Openport works.

If I am doing something wrong, I hope to find it out soon enough, before this software installation routine - and waiting - becoming a new hobby :)

* ALL experiments were done using WIS Standalone solution from link you'd provided. (Thank you very much.)
* ALL experiments were done using a freshly system reset Surface Pro with generous hardware specs.
* I do read your instruction so carefully, as my previous work had me reading IT technical manuals for 25 years ;)
