In the meantime, I bought a TabScan T6 Xentry. I wanted to find out if all the declared functions of the iOS application would work at least on my car. I also wanted to see how fast and stable the plexer would be compared to the VCI C6 clone with Xentry, Vediamo and DTS Monaco.

For both C6 clone and TabScan, I used a Dell 5300 with I7 8665U, 32GB RAM, 500GB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 pro, Xentry 9/23, Vediamo 5.1.1, DTS Monaco 8.16.

For C6 I installed the latest 1.0.0.5 drivers on one laptop and for TabScan I installed the latest "TabScan PC Management Tool" on another laptop. This will ensure that the drivers are installed correctly and will automatically download all the necessary files. This is a big advantage of the C6 clone as I had to contact the seller to get the correct drivers. But in the end everything was fine.

Both the C6 clone and the TabScan T6 will be detected in Vediamo and DTS Monaco as an eCOM device, with Xentry you do not need to configure anything either in the VCI manager or in the system settings, they are both configured well and after installing the drivers and starting over, they ready to use.

I started with the C6 clone, doing the usual bench testing of the EIS222 and IC222. Interestingly, the C6 took a little longer to collect all the necessary information about the car, after which the quick test began. The T6 was a little faster.

To confirm my impression, I started a quick test on my S205 2017. Both were reliable and fast, but the T6 was faster again, running a quick test and clearing error codes.

In Vediamo, both were about the same, I think this is due to Vediamo and the older system architecture. But in DTS Monaco the T6 surprised me again because everything happened much faster than with the C6. Moving from one menu item to another or changing VCDs is much faster. Wow... I sent some videos to the guy with VXDIAG SE and he was amazed at the incredible speed of the T6.

By the way, both devices, C6 and T6, can be used via WiFi. I accidentally did this with the T6 and it ran stable and smooth. I usually use a cable connection because I want to avoid errors due to slow WiFi or other problems when using WiFi. But this device is very stable.

Both devices worked well in Xentry and all other software. If anyone wants to see the device in action, just message me, I can send you a video and you can see how fast the T6 is. I may have some C6 videos too, but I sold my C6 kit a few days ago.

Thank you for reading! I'll also check out other features of the TabScan T6 and tell you how they work.

Yes, it is a little faster, but it is also much more expensive. The C6 will be available for around $150, while the T6 will cost around $550. So it all depends on how much work you do on these devices.

Where did you find a C6 for $150?

As for the C6, I have never seen it for that price. I am currently using the Super MB PRO M6 and it works great with both new and old cars (HHT). WiFi works great too.

Ok, sounds good if it works! The M6 comes in 2 versions, one with USB (newer) and one with RJ45 (older). Do they both work like the C4?

It has both connectors.
If you connect the USB, it will show up as a network card in the device manager - acting like an RJ45.
But since I got the M6, I haven't had any issues with Wi-Fi.

Thank you for your feedback. But still the main question.
Does the M6 handle the same as the C4 or C6?
I tried to find out about this on the websites of different sellers, but there is no information.

Yes, of course.
The connection is the same as C4 via SDсonnect.
It doesn't matter whether you connect the device via USB, RJ45 or WiFi - it will always be available at 172.29.127.129 - the same as C4 and is displayed with the Multiplexer Number on the task icon.

Thanks for this information.
Then the latest Xentry version with native M6 support is XDOS 9/23, all other versions need to be fixed.

The old and new Super MB are the same.
Since new laptops do not have a LAN connection, Super MB is equipped with a USB port.
