I need a J2534 interface that supports XENTRY PassThru reasonably well, within a £20-£50 budget.
So far my search/recommendations have led me to the Tactrix Openport 2.0 interface (original price £180). However, I'm initially interested in trying out more budget alternatives.
The car is a 2009 W207 E350.

I bought the Tactrix Openport 2.0 on AliExpress and it's great. I've used it on my Mercedes and my son's Lexus. It's cheap and works great. I paid about $25.

VXDIAG with C6 license is also a great choice!

I am using a fake Tactrix Openport from AliExpress. Didn't work with DAS at first. Works fine after using "Ignition Enabler" and tweaking DAS INI files. Haven't tried coding with Vediamo yet.

I used Openport 2.0, Mini VCI and Scanmatik 2 PRO (all Chinese). All tested on my Smart 451.
Openport is good for diagnostics, coding and flashing. But the USB connector is vulnerable.
Mini VCI is good for diagnostics and coding, but flashing made my TCU unusable (reflashed with Openport).
Mini VCI also has a built-in 120 Ohm CAN bus resistor, which may or may not cause problems.
Scanmatik is good for diagnostics and coding (flashing not tested).

Just my experience, I hope it helps someone.

Is VXDIAG compatible with genuine XENTRY PassThru? I have original Openport and Scanmatik but they don't allow me to flash the cluster. Is there any alternative other than the original C6?

A friend of mine uses an Openport 2.0 clone that he bought for less than 15 euros and it works great with Xentry.

I have an Openport clone from AliExpress. The voltage regulator burned out after a week.
Fixed with the help of YouTube. Works great. Xentry, Vediamo, etc.
