Best J2534 Interface/Clone

I need a J2534 interface that supports XENTRY PassThru reasonably well, within a £20-£50 budget.
So far my search/recommendations have led me to the Tactrix Openport 2.0 interface (original price £180). However, I'm initially interested in trying out more budget alternatives.
The car is a 2009 W207 E350.

Scanmatik 2 PRO works well with XPT and Vediamo 4.

What setup did you do for each XPT and Vediamo? I had problems with SM2Pro. I got Tactrix to work (as best as it could, anyway).

Install the driver for SM2 only, remove all listed drivers in the "J" configuration in the Vediamo directory, add the configuration line to "J" and save the changes. Reboot the system.
Openport has a power consumption issue that can be fixed by replacing some resistors and adding a capacitor.

The Autel J2534 interface works well with XENTRY PassThru.
Just make sure you turn off Bluetooth on your Autel device, otherwise it will interfere with the connection.

I use Openport 2.0 from the land of the rising sun.
I bought it on AliExpress and it works fine with XPT 03.2023, Vediamo 4 and DTS Monaco v9.02, I paid 25 euros.

I don't know if anyone has tried the GODIAG cable. I was able to connect to my W207 and read the errors, but I couldn't connect deeper.

I guess I don't understand why this is such a problem. I mean, how long can this go on and how long do people run diagnostics with the car off? Don't people have a battery charger handy to plug in while they're diagnosing/coding etc.?

I'm interested in learning more about this. Many cables read and clear codes in the engine module, just wondering which ones will let you do more.
Have you had a chance to test the GODIAG cable further? I'm interested in seeing what it can do.
